FWA 12th Annual "Hot Cajun Night" Fundraiser Dinner, Auction & Raffle

WANTED!

Cowpokes who are ready to mosey on up to the mighty excitin’ Family Water Alliance 12th Annual Hot Cajun Night Fundraiser Dinner, Raffle and Auction.

We’ll be havin’ this hoedown on Saturday, November 17, 2007, in pretty little downtown Maxwell, at the ole Legion Hall.

Ya’ all can belly on up to the bar and fill yer grub plate to the brim, while you place yer bid on some mighty fine items. Saloon opens at 6:00 p.m. with grub served at 7:00 p.m. Cost per cowboy or cowgirl is $25.

The dinner house will be serving savory barrel cooked, marinated tri-tip, Cajun seafood rice, cole slaw, cornbread and honey butter.

All gun slingers that purchase their tickets by November 9, 2007, will qualify for the “Early Bird Prize”, a Beretta 20-Gauge semi-automatic shotgun donated by Kittle’s Outdoor & Sport Company, Colusa.

All ticket holders qualify to win the Grand Prize of $1000 Christmas cash donated by Butte Creek Farms of Colusa, or the First Prize a digital camera and printer package, donated by Superior Tire/Reading Oil Company of Colusa.

Ya’ all should know that this event is held to raise funds to support FWA’s efforts to continue to protect private property rights and rural agricultural communities.

This year’s theme is “Showdown at the FWA Corral” and guests are encouraged to show their inner cowpoke and wear western gear. Please no horses allowed.
