Resolution Opposing the Cortina Band of Wintun Indians' Landfill Project.At their regular meeting held in October, the Family Water Alliance Board of Directors adopted a resolution in opposition of the landfill project proposed by the Cortina Band of Wintun Indians in Colusa County. The resolution adresses water quality issues, and possible groundwater contamination. The County of Colusa has opposed the Cortina Lanfill for many years. Ashley (Emery) Indrieri stated that, "the proposed Cortina Landfill will potentially have negative impacts on Colusa County residents water supply."
