EDUCATION AND OUTREACH
Family Water Alliance (FWA) addresses issues that directly effect rural families and communities. FWA provides a strong grassroots voice for the protection of water rights, private property rights, custom, culture, and economic stability. Safeguarding these rights ensures a healthy north state community.
Speaking engagements, Congressional testimony, and our quarterly newsletter, the Green Ribbon Report, keep FWA actively engaged in educating the public about rural issues. Outreach is a vital part of Family Water Alliance.
FWA networks with other grassroots organizations throughout the nation as well as local farming, environmental, and resource based groups in California. Information on rural issues is shared over this vast network.
These issues include the Endangered Species Act, private property rights, Area of Origin water rights, Public Trust Doctrine, and fishery issues.
